Ken & Karla Werner, both born and raised in Tillamook, Oregon, are the founders of Werner Gourmet Meat Snacks. Their journey began in 1994 when they started making beef jerky from their home garage. Ken would load up their family minivan with delicious Werner Beef Jerky and drive up and down the north Oregon Coast, selling their savory and homemade jerky to local shops and stores. The Werner Brand quickly became a favorite among locals due to its exceptional taste and authentic feel.

Today, Werner Gourmet Meat Snacks operates from a modern, 100,000 square foot facility located in the heart of Tillamook, Oregon. Despite the company's growth, their philosophy remains unchanged - quality first. They value their customers, many of whom have become close friends, and are dedicated to creating high-quality, great-tasting snack products.
